Lausanne now has a new museum and a new skate park as well! This new building dedicated to fine art and modern architecture will also attract skateboard enthusiasts. The promenade on the site includes several sloping platforms which are sure to inspire skateboarders to show off their kickflips and other manoeuvres in their repertoire.
THE cultural place to be in Lausanne, just a step away from the train station. Everytime we visit, we can't help but take a picture of the Luce e ombra tree in the MCBA's entrance hall.
Passionate about culture or photography like me, Lausanne’s new arts district is a place not to be missed. Inside the museums and especially strolling by these architectural jewels or sipping a drink on one of the terraces sheltered by the arches. To watch the comings and goings of passers-by and let yourself be lulled by the play of light and shade. A wee bonus, the cycle path that lets you avoid the roundabout in front of the train station at rush hours.

In the same place and with a single admission ticket, the public is invited to discover the museums' program in a convivial way: by walking from one museum to the other, they take an original journey between the disciplines of design, photography and fine arts.
At PLATEFORME 10, a visit to the museums is part of a whole: the restaurants, cafés and arcades, as well as the wide spaces of the esplanade that can be explored on foot, by bike, skateboard or scooter, alone or with the family, make a visit to the arts district a unique moment of sharing, culture and leisure.
