Explanatory panels and eight optical viewers reconstructing the ancient structures allow visitors to visualize the main buildings of the square: the basilica (housing political, judicial, administrative, and economic activities) and the temple dedicated to the worship of Rome and the emperor.
On a water feature recreating the ancient lakeshore, an artwork made of oak piles dating back twenty centuries, created by Etienne and Fabien Krähenbühl, enhances the site: “Horizons Lousonna”.
Halfway between the museum and the park, visitors can also admire a geometric-style mosaic that once adorned the bathing room of a Gallo-Roman house.
