More info
Originally from Chexbres, the Bovys are an old Vaud family. The wine cellar dates back to the 16th century and the estate’s first vineyards were purchased in 1779. As from 1925, the cultivation of vines was developed, and the marketing of bottled wines began in 1937. Today, the fourth generation of the Bovy family is at the head of the estate.
Covering 80% of their land, Chasselas is the main production of the Bovy family, although they have diversified with several other varieties – both white and red – in very small productions. The viticulture is integrated and environmentally friendly.
To purchase wine or enjoy a drink, it’s always best to announce your visit ahead in case the estate has been hired for a private event.
