More info

The Mermetus Estate favours local varieties – such as Chasselas for the white wines and Plant Robert for the reds – to express the essence of the different terroirs, in a range of 9 different vintages. About twenty other varieties are cultivated on specific plots, offering in this way an exceptional diversity of tastes and sensations. The vineyards are cultivated with care, each of the winegrower’s acts being thought through to adapt to the needs of the plant and the environment in which it grows. This sensitivity to nature can also be observed during the vinification. An estate that derives full satisfaction from creating wines that faithfully reflect the vintage.

Did you know?
The name Mermetus Estate recalls the Roman origins of the vine cultivation. Of course, the Romans did not clear Lavaux land, but their language has shaped that of the winegrowers.
