Fabienne Levy Gallery opened in 2019 near the Lausanne train station and the Plateforme 10 museums district, which houses the Musée cantonal des beaux-arts (MCBA), mudac and Photo Elysée.
The gallery presents five to six exhibitions per year, with in situ projects highlighting questions that define our time through the eyes of artists. It illustrates a desire to create synergies between museums, galleries and residents. The gallery has already presented exhibitions of international artists such as Ben Arpéa, Norbert Bisky, Daniela Edburg, Alina Frieske, Andrea Galvani, Lucia Hierro, Tang Shuo and Yuval Yairi.
The gallery also instigated the project Space Invasion, inviting visual art students from Swiss art schools to invest the gallery space with their works for 2 to 3 weeks around a given theme. All profits go to the students.
In March 2023, Fabienne Levy opened a second venue in the Quartier des Bains in Geneva to offer more visibility to its artists.
