Valency Park

Nature
Recently remodelled, the upper part of Valency Park plays on Mediterranean impressions: its white gravel walkway shaded by lime trees is reminiscent of the "Places de Lices" (tournament areas) in the south of France where they play games of petanque. Indeed, the gravel replaced lawns that were a sorry sight in the summer due to the shade produced by those great trees.

More info

In his restaurant in the middle of the Avenue d’Echallens in Lausanne, Nazzareno Raffa works with his wife Mathilde and his Chef Luigi Gabriele. They are surrounded by a friendly, enthusiastic team – including several members of the family – to celebrate Italian gastronomy. Calabria and Apulia, the home regions of Nazzareno and Luigi, are evident in every plate and glass. That is where the ingredients originate before being carefully selected and prepared by the masters of the kitchen.

The’ home-made’ quality and superb tastes have convinced the specialists at the GaultMillau guide to award 14 points to this authentic restaurant. The menu changes four times a year, except for the St Paul classics but always gives good value for money. In summer, eating on the terrace adds a touch of the sun to this already brilliant culinary experience!
