Valency Park

Nature
Recently remodelled, the upper part of Valency Park plays on Mediterranean impressions: its white gravel walkway shaded by lime trees is reminiscent of the "Places de Lices" (tournament areas) in the south of France where they play games of petanque. Indeed, the gravel replaced lawns that were a sorry sight in the summer due to the shade produced by those great trees.

Close to the Palais de Beaulieu, this small bakery is worth a stop. It specialises in CRUFFINS!, viennoiseries that are a cross between croissants and muffins, crispy and filled with sumptuous cream. They come in various flavours such as the excellent peanut butter-jam! And their cinnamon buns are just as delish!

More info

Trigo Bakery was launched by the Mangiobevo Italian deli’s team. The bakery serves fresh bread and delicious pastries such as cinnamon rolls, pains au chocolat or croissants. For those who prefer savoury treats, there are also pizzas, “quiches vaudoises” and focaccie. And if you feel tempted by an ice cream, Trigo Bakery also sells small tubs from Loom!
