The “café historique” (“historical café”) label was created by the City of Lausanne in 2021 to promote these historical bars and restaurants that Lausanners love so. Highlighting this label enables the durable conservation of the local aspects of this precious heritage. The soul of these meeting places as well as their diversities offer you an authentic experience. Set off on a discovery of the historical cafés to enjoy a beer with friends or savour a meal with your family.
