Tour de France – Lausanne
July 9 2022

The eighth stage of the Tour de France will leave Dole in the Jura mountains and end in the Vaud capital on Saturday, July 9, 2022, finishing in front of the Pontaise Olympic stadium after cycling through town, where the peloton will tackle over 9 km of Lausanne’s hills. The competitors will arrive from the Joux Valley and enter Lausanne from the south. They will climb the Avenue d’Ouchy, then cross Place Saint-François and Pont Chauderon before braving the 12% incline of the Avenue de Beaulieu. A final effort that promises a great show! On the occasion of this arrival, the City of Lausanne will also organise many activities around cycling.
